The final scores of the Transition from Basic Education to Secondary Education exams following the court ruling omitting a question that appeared in the second term of the 2014-2105 of the  Transition from Basic Education to Secondary Education exam, following the appeals of students who should have been exempt of religion lessons, following the requests of teachers who could not enter their scores in the system, and following the legal appeals to class scores by students have now been published in the “e-okul” site. Each student has a window for making school preferences and the process is now officially on. Schools have set up commissions to provide healthy guidance to students and parents to help them with their preferences. Besides this the Ministry has furnished a “preference robot” on its Internet page which will automatically guide parents and students.

The transfers and periods of transfers have been rearranged by the orders of the Mınister’s Office according to the Ministry of National Education Teachers Appointments and Transfers Regulation upon requests from the public and the teachers themselves. According to the changes announced in the Official Gazette dated July 4, 2015 the general application periods of rotations have been increased from eight years to twelve and to start with 15 years eventually in phases. The application of the regulation will be according to the timetable announced earlier.

Bureaucratic work and applications regarding the schools for minorities which have come to the attention of the public on various occasions and have created the image that there is discrimination regarding the students of the minority schools have all been declared void. According to a change in the regulations bureaucratic activities that could suggest any discrimination have been eliminated and some facilities have been created to help the appointment process of teachers to minority schools.

Besides all this in the past week the necessary work has been carried out in amending the regulations regarding transfers of students, discipline regulations and attendance according to the findings of various workshops with students, teachers and school administrators and all these have been published in the Official Gazette.

We would like to respectfully inform the public.
